Robert Rasmussen and Per Kristiansen
Step four in the Lego Serious Play core process involves reflection and learning, which helps individuals clarify their knowledge and expand collective insights. Asking good questions in this step is important for protecting the meaning of the model and ensuring participants understand each other's models correctly. When making a starter kit, include basic bricks for structures, transparent bricks, odd-shaped bricks, movement bricks, Multi-metaphor bricks, single metaphor bricks, and some minifigures. Purpose of reflection is to help individuals become clearer on their knowledge and expand collective insights. Step four does not mean asking questions to everyone's model or achieving hard discovery moments, but rather protecting and caring for the builder's model and expanding knowledge. Step four also plays a role in protecting the meaning of the model and caring for the builder's knowledge through asking questions in a particular manner.Per discusses the benefits of asking good questions in step four, including helping builders make more connections in their mind and ensuring they don't forget important parts of their model. Asking good questions also ensures that participants understand each other's models correctly and spreads out collective learning. In part 2 Per and Robert discusses the different products offered by LEGO company, including frequently asked questions about using children's Lego bricks and the logic behind the official sets. They emphasize the importance of using identical individual sets for each participant in workshops and provide examples of classic constellations of product sets. They also caution against using too much material in longer workshops. When making your own starter kit, include basic bricks for structures, transparent bricks, odd-shaped bricks, movement bricks, multi metaphor bricks, single metaphor bricks, and some minifigures. Robert discusses official products, how they were put together, and answer frequently asked questions about them, and to cover other prepacked solutions and practical ways to reuse bricks. Rule to always have one identical individual set for each participant in a workshop. Identical individual sets should be used instead of group sets in the skill building phase.
